Welcome to Pedal Delmarva!

Each month we put on an organized group ride that showcases areas of the Delmarva region.
If you are not familiar with the term Delmarva it stands for Delaware, Maryland and Virginia’s Eastern Shore. In 2008 we will be featuring rides that explore the Worcester county area of this great region with emphasis on quiet lightly traveled back country roads that will take you back in time. Put yourself and your biking ability to the test as you have fun on the path less traveled. Give the gas guzzling automobile a break and pedal into an eco-friendly 2008. Get away from the hustle. All Cyclists are welcome here.

 Your choice of a dozen courses each month, from 21 miles to 100 miles. Explore the path less traveled on your road bike, mountain bike, Tandem, or recumbent. Gear up for all 8 rides and you will see why cyclists prefer to Pedal Delmarva.

From Historic Furnace Town to Berlin, from Snow Hill to Pocomoke 2008 will be the year for exploring Worcester County Maryland. Minutes from Ocean City but a world apart!

Affordable, Friendly, organized rides for the beginner to the pro. Along with the best courses you receive energy drinks, healthy snacks, and a cookout following each ride. All rides are scheduled for Saturdays with Sunday being the Rain Day. All rides will take place the last Saturday of each month, see dates below.

The above rides will feature your choice of:     21 miles  -  35 miles  -  50 miles  -  74 miles  -  100 miles

We can only take 100 riders per ride. There are absolutely no day of registrations allowed. Please don’t ask us to do day of registrations as this is not possible.

Once a ride is filled to capacity we will post it on the website. If we have to go with the rain date we will post that on the website as well the night before the ride. If there is a doubt about the rain causing a ride to be postponed you can call the number provided upon registration.

No refunds or transfers can be allowed. Helmets are mandatory. There will be changing facilities available to you. Bathrooms will be available.

All rides will start and end in Berlin, Maryland 21811 for 2008. All rides have a one hour start time of 7.30am –8.30am
